Adopt k9s now

Published July 4, 2024

I used the kubectl as the unique driver for Kubernetes for many years. I was feeling like a purist, very smart relaying on the NATIVE tool to interact with the best, but in reality it is the wrong daily driver for Kubernetes.

Don’t get me wrong, knowing about kubectl is important for many reasons, first scripting. I love to write my own little tools and automations, to customize my local environment and for those tasks the kubectl is what you are looking for.

But for everyday use it is just too much, too verbose and it kills my enthusiasm. Do you know what drives to down? Web browsers! If you are like me adopt k9s.

A pretty popular TUI that support multiple contexts so multiple clusters just like kubectl does but it is way easier to navigate.

Do not do like myself, don’t wait any longer!
