Hello! I’m Gianluca Arbezzano.

I work at the intersection of development and operations, so I understand what it takes to write code that runs reliably in production.

Here are a few things that might interest you:

  1. Community-oriented and collaborative: I’m passionate about working with people who embrace remote-first and open communities. I’m a former Docker Captain and CNCF Ambassador, and I’ve contributed to open-source projects throughout my career, including Docktrine, Kubernetes, Docker, TestContainers, and InfluxDB.
  2. Problem solver and multiplier: I’ve worked at companies of various sizes and stages — from early startups to established teams — in roles such as Founding Engineer, SRE, DevOps, and Developer. I believe great products are built by passionate, happy people, and I strive to support that.
  3. Knowledge sharing advocate: A great result isn’t just about the outcome — it’s about the journey and how you share what you’ve learned.

When I’m not coding, I grow vegetables 🫘 🌽 🌶️ 🥕 🫚 🥔 🍄‍🟫 and tinker in my home lab — building things with wood and iron, and doing 3D printing. I like to keep my hands busy!
