Hello, I am Gianluca Arbezzano.

I keep bouncing in between development and operation, so I know what to expect when it comes to writing code that runs in production.

I think the best I can do is to list a few things that you may find interesting:

  1. Community oriented, remote first, collaborative people. I am a former Docker Captain, CNCF Ambassadors. Open-source maintainers since early in my career for projects like Docktrine, Kubernetes, Docker, TestContainers, InfluxDB.
  2. Problem solver and force multiplier: I worked at companies with different size and at different stages from Founding Eng, SRE, DevOps, Developer. I know a good product requires passionate and happy humans. I want to contribute to it as well.
  3. Advocate and knowledge sharing. Cooking a good meal is not enough. The journey and the presentation make all the difference.

When I am not coding I grow my vegetables 🫘 🌽 🌶️ 🥕 🫚 🥔 🍄‍🟫, I have a small lab at home where I build things with wood and iron, 3D print. I keep my hands dirty.
